Telecommunications Company. This involved designing IP and
eBusiness propositions for major customers including GEC, GE, CSC,
TXU and BAe responsible for £65 Million in revenue.
- Heavy Plant Hire Company
- Evaluate supplier responses and perform a Value for Money
review on a WAN procurement.
- Retail Chain
- Consultancy assignment to review LAN and desktop operating
system strategy. This review not only addressed the technical
issues but also the effects of IT market trends
- PLC Holding Company
- Designing an Internet based WAN, LAN and GroupWare strategy and
assisting in the evaluation of supplier offerings.
- Building Materials Manufacturer
- Assisting the Lighting division with the procurement of a
multi-million pound ERP and office automation system.
- Regional Brewery
- Producing a PC network strategy for the brewery, which was
implementing PC systems for the first time and assisting with the
procurement and project management.
- European Paper Supplier
- Production of a new Internet acceptable use policy as part of
the company's personnel procedures
- Directory Publisher
- Review and bench-marking exercise on the IT systems at this
directory publisher - a major sub-contractor to the Telecomm
Industry. This assignment included the consideration of business
continuity.
- Major Life Insurance Group
- Review evaluating the Life Group's Security Policies and Plans,
recommending where actions were required as part of a move to
eBusiness. This exercise involved a complete review of the
Business' direction and objectives, with a view to matching the
Security Model and Policies to meet these needs.
A follow-up assignment involved advising on cryptographic
controls for the business operations. This involved techniques that
enabled; Authentication, Confidentiality and Privacy at all levels
of the communications architecture.
- Expert Witness
- IMC consultants have been engaged to provide expert witness
services during a number of legal disputes in both the criminal and
civil courts. This work has involved preparation of reports,
liaison with the legal teams and attendance at court.
- In addition to this legal work, our consultants have appeared as
IT experts on BBC and ITV television and on BBC Radio 4.
